Why Zenith Exists

Zenith was created around the belief that there are parts of endurance racing that are worth truly investing in, like fairness, consistency, and real competition. Our rulebook and standards are written in clear language, and we apply them the same way, every weekend, with a consistent staff so that what is written actually shows up on track.

We support that promise with people who have operated at the highest levels of the sport. Zenith Racing Series works in partnership with USAC (United States Auto Club), bringing the infrastructure, experience, and professionalism that endurance racing deserves. That means seasoned Stewards and Race Control officials, a Clerk of the Course who keeps the event plan coherent, Pit Lane marshals who prevent issues before they appear, Technical Inspectors who care equally about safety and parity, and licensing support that removes guesswork from what is expected. The result is not just a rulebook; it is a functioning system you can rely on.

Trust also depends on information. Al Kamel powers our timing and scoring, providing live GPS-based position, class gaps, Drive ID, stint counters, and pit-window clarity. Teams get the detailed truth they need. We extend that precision to spectators with an elevated live stream: multi-camera coverage, commentary that understands endurance racing, and real time graphics driven by Al Kamel. Fans see what teams see: class battles, pit cycles, strategy shifts, and the story of the race as it happens.

Culture is what holds everything together. We race hard, and we draw a clear line. Zenith is a strict no-contact series, because clean racing is essential to a fair and enjoyable event. When contact happens, penalties are applied quickly and firmly. The same approach applies to integrity. Cheating, fuel tricks, and games with declared power will remove you from the event. We value creativity and engineering, not deception. These are not marketing lines; they are the conditions that allow everyone to push harder with fewer doubts.

When incidents occur, we believe that neutralizing the field with a clear, predictable Code 35 style procedure calms the situation without turning the race upside down. It is a commitment that safety will not become chaos and that strategy can be planned instead of guessed.

Our technical philosophy follows the same clarity. We class cars with simple, transparent power to weight targets:

  • ZP2: Prototype class with a maximum power to weight ratio of 9.0:1
  • ZR2: GT style class with a maximum power to weight ratio of 9.0:1
  • ZR3: GT style class with a maximum power to weight ratio of 10.5:1

Performance is anchored to that ratio and then shaped by two linked guardrails that keep competition honest and interesting:
Fuel capacity scales with power (more power, more fuel; less power, less fuel) and declared power is tied to weight through a published formula and verified in Tech.

Build what you believe in, then prove it. Within this framework, we welcome engineering effort: aero, engines, and setup. The gains you find do not disappear into vague penalties; they become choices your crew can plan around and your competitors can race against.
